The Timex T79081 My First Timex analog watch is the perfect timepiece complement to more dressy outings. With a more adult design, it has a round, mid-sized silver stainless steel watch case the highly polished bezel that frames a white dial background with easy-to-read Arabic numerals and black baton hands (with pink seconds hand). It also offers water resistance to 30 meters and a pastel pink genuine leather strap. The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer.

I'm 19 years old and have had this watch for about a year now. I LOVE IT. I got it because I have a very small wrist and can't fit into most adult watches. It doesn't look incredibly childish, and if you prefer, you could always try to change the wristbands. It lights up in the dark too, which is handy at times. The second hand is great for me as well because I need it for nursing school. I highly recommend it :) It's also cheap hehe

The watch works well, the band is durable, and it looks good. My 7 year-old daughter loved it! Unfortunately, she lost it after a week. I sent for the $10 replacement that Timex offers on their kids' watches and they mailed an identical watch within three weeks with no charge for shipping. Good old Timex; gotta love 'em.

My daughter is 10 and this is a great watch for her. She loves the color and light up feature. I love the classic look of it and that it has worked perfectly. I bought this one for one daughter and the one in blue for my 11 year old, last Christmas. They wear them nonstop.

My 5yo and 6yo daughters asked for a "real watch" after they each received an analog watch for Christmas last year, neither of which kept the correct time. We purchased this watch (and the one in light blue) after reading the reviews and our own experience with the Timex brand. This watch has more than exceeded their (and our) expectations. The soft-buttery leather strap fits nicely around their wrists - it is not too big (they can wear it on the tightest fitting). The watch face is large enough for them to read the time, altho' as young girls it doesn't appear to be too big in proportion to their body. As well, second-hand has helped them learn more about time. The Indiglo Light is a bonus for fun, altho' now they insist on wearing their watches to bed (even tho' they each have a digital alarm clock). As well, the water-resistant feature is a plus because they still like to get messy and clean up on their own. This is a great watch at an excellent price that I expect they will own for some time and will grow with each of them into their 'tween years.

This watch is perfect for a first watch. The glow light for the dark is a great feature. Numbers are easy to read. Leather band is really nice and stitched well. Plenty of room to expand.
